👋 Hello there, I’m Rassul!

🎓 I am a fourth-year student at Kazakh-British Technical University (KBTU), specializing in Automation and Robotics.

🤖 My academic interests focus on industrial manipulators and autonomous mobile robots, particularly their applications in automation and intelligent systems, with a strong emphasis on artificial intelligence and reinforcement learning.

🚀 Currently, I am involved in ongoing research:
“Development of Multirobot Painting Control System with Real-Time Monitoring.”

đźź© Additionally, I am expanding my expertise in reinforcement learning using NVIDIA frameworks and actively working on the development of reinforcement learning for manipulators.

🏆 Selected Experience

🔬 Robotics Assistant - Kazakh-British Technical University

  • Contributing to the development of laboratory practice manuals for Isaac Sim.
  • Worked on an Inverted Pendulum on a Moving Platform project, focusing on control algorithms and system stability.
  • Mentor and organizer of ITFEST 2024-2025.
  • Inregration of Computer Vision models into laboratory projects.

🤖 Robotics Intern (short term) - Arcobo, Almaty, Kazakhstan

  • Deployed and operated a Kawasaki industrial robot.
  • Programmed and executed motion tasks on the Astorino Kawasaki platform, including trajectory following and pick-and-place operations.
  • Utilized SimBox HIL simulation for safe testing, validation, and rapid iteration of robotic workflows.

🏭 Automation and Robotics Engineer — Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan

  • Car Spot Welding: Participated in the integration of the Hyundai Accent body model into robotic welding cells, gaining hands-on experience in workflow setup, configuration, and trajectory path optimization for automated production.

  • Autonomous Guided Vehicles (AGVs): Studied Hyundai’s AGV systems used for intralogistics and material transport. Explored PLC communication protocols for AGV navigation, coordination, and precise body transfer across assembly lines.

  • PLC Programming: Designed ladder logic in Siemens TIA Portal (S7-300) to control a conveyor system, implementing start/stop commands, direction switching, emergency stop, and timer-based sequences.

  • HMI Development: Developed operator interfaces in XP Builder (LS Electronics) for real-time conveyor visualization and control, including functional buttons (Start, Reset, Direction, E-Stop) and sensor status indicators.

  • Sensor Integration: Installed and calibrated inductive proximity sensors, enabling automated start, delay, and stop sequences synchronized with conveyor operation.

  • Electrical Assembly: Assembled and wired a complete control cabinet with circuit breakers, relays, power supplies, timers, and signaling devices, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant system operation.
